Abstract

As rates of economic growth change rapidly, and changes of the whole of social
needs as well as technological development in various countries have to be taken
into consideration, in the twenty-first century, it is extremely important to pay adequate
attention to cultural governance. The author of the present article analyses the
application of public-private partnership principles in the context of contemporary
cultural governance. The main (and multiple) problem of the article is the efficiency
of cultural implementation and the effectiveness of cultural governance. The purpose
of the article is to explore the modernization of cultural governance by analyzing the
theoretical aspects of partnership and exploring the challenges posed by modern
public management. The development of the implementation of cultural policies in
different countries is associated with the adoption of more efficient methods, promotion
of international cooperation, formulation of long-term and detailed strategies of
cultural policies and implementation of their provisions in practice.
