Abstract

The article analyses the changing role of innovations in the performance of public administrationorganizations. It is reflected in the identification of the absorptive capacity’s role in theprocesses of innovation creation and exploitation and the determination of public organizations’role in the management of innovative processes. During the research the initial idea, thatthe public administration organizations should be actively involved in the processes of creationof innovation, provision of facilities and constant consolidation was substantiated, because innovationsare increasingly making an impact on public organizations’ performance throughglobal channels of information and knowledge.
