Evaluation of Strategics as Smartness Dimension in Cultural Management
A broader approach to cultural management as the implementation of cultural policy at the state level is missing and smartness in this context was not analysed before. Research conducted by authors of this article allowed to formulate six main smartness dimensions in cultural management. In this article one of the main dimensions – the dimension of strategics is deeper analysed. It is problematic to find methodologies that allow a better understanding of strategics in practice, or even more – the smartness. The goal of this article is to ground the evaluation criteria and indicator system of strategics as smartness dimension in cultural management. The object of the work – strategics as smartness dimension in cultural management evaluation criteria and indicators. These following objectives are formulated: reveal the theoretical construct of cultural management at the state level; briefly characterize the smartness dimensions in cultural management; reveal the importance of strategics as one of smartness dimensions in cultural management; reveal the essence of evaluation criteria and indicator system of strategics as smartness dimension in cultural management. It is recommended to evaluate the expression of strategics in cultural management by invoking the evaluation system of 4 criteria and 62 indicators (using an integrated methodology). The evaluation system is composed further continuing authors executed research on better understanding of smartness in cultural management. It helps to reveal the strategics as complex category. Both the smartness in the broad sense, as well as its dimension – strategics – are grounded as factors, possibly determining a more successful cultural management at the state level.
