Abstract

Currently Anglo-Saxon models of public administration are dominant. These models are based on business management and public policy
approach. The discussion in this article focuses on the legalistic models of public administration which were formerly used in continental Europe and are
still valid in many countries. These models come from Austrian, German and French schools of public administration and are used in practice. This
article provides an overview of the traditional administration genesis and assessment of its impact on administrative processes in continental Europe
